This is a genuinely high profile opportunity sitting at the heart of a major UK retailer’s store growth and renewal strategy. With significant investment into new stores, refurbishments and estate transformation, Procurement is being elevated to play a far more strategic role across Property. It’s about shaping the future retail estate.
The Scope:
- You’ll sit within the Property Business Unit, partnering across: Store Equipment (£70m spend) – refrigeration, shelving, lighting, wiring, racking, flooring, fit-out components
- Total managed spend across the wider area: £600m
What They’re Looking For:
- Strong experience across Property & FM (non-negotiable)
- Strategic category management capability
- Comfortable influencing specification owners
- Experience within Retail/Consumer highly desirable
- Exposure to main contractors / construction environment advantageous
