We're recruiting for a Procurement Manager to join one of London's leading transport and passenger services operators, supporting a business that delivers essential commuter and leisure travel across the capital.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing procurement and transformation function where you'll work across multiple categories, partner with senior stakeholders, and deliver strategic sourcing initiatives that create commercial value, reduce risk, and drive operational excellence.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Director of Procurement, you'll take ownership of a broad and diverse indirect spend portfolio, giving you the opportunity to influence procurement strategy across the entire organisation.

You'll own and manage spend across

IT, Marketing, Facilities Management, Maintenance, HR, Logistics, Food & Beverage, Cleaning , and a range of other indirect categories, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and broad commercial exposure.

You'll collaborate with departments including Finance, Legal, Operations, Safety and Project Management to identify opportunities, improve supplier performance and ensure the organisation achieves best value from its supply chain.

This is a highly visible position suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, building relationships, influencing decision-makers and leading procurement projects from strategy through to contract award.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage procurement activity across a diverse indirect spend portfolio including

IT, Marketing, Facilities Management, Maintenance, HR, Logistics, Food & Beverage, Cleaning and other business services.

  • Lead strategic sourcing projects across multiple procurement categories.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop procurement strategies.
  • Analyse supplier and spend data to identify savings opportunities and commercial improvements.
  • Manage tender processes, supplier evaluations and contract negotiations.
  • Support supplier relationship management and ongoing contract performance.
  • Work closely with Finance, Legal and operational teams to ensure compliance, risk management and value for money.
  • Maintain accurate contract documentation and supplier lifecycle management.
  • Contribute to sustainability initiatives within the supply chain.
  • Drive continuous improvement across procurement processes and ways of working.

About You

You'll be a confident Procurement professional with strong commercial awareness and experience working in a private sector environment, ideally within a fast-paced, multi-site business.

  • Experience managing multiple indirect procurement categories.
  • Proven procurement experience within the private sector .
  • Experience in a commercial procurement or strategic sourcing role.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience leading end-to-end tender processes and supplier negotiations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.

  • High levels of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
