Talent Drive have partnered with a pharmaceutical organisation as they continue to build and strengthen their Indirect Procurement function. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Category Manager – Indirect Services to take ownership of several key spend areas and help shape category strategy within a business where procurement is becoming increasingly strategic.

The Role: This position will play a key role in developing and delivering category strategies across multiple indirect services areas (Corporate & Professional Services, HR, Finance, Audit, Tax, Marketing, Travel, Fleet) partnering with stakeholders across the business to drive value, efficiency and supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing category strategies across indirect services
  • Leading sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations
  • Driving supplier performance and SRM frameworks
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders across multiple business functions
  • Using market intelligence to optimise cost and service delivery
  • Embedding procurement best practice and governance

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to develop and implement category strategies
  • Experience working in complex or multi-site organisations
  • Comfortable influencing stakeholders across multiple levels
  • CIPS qualification or experience within regulated or global environments would be advantageous but not essential.
