Indirect Procurement Specialist

£40,000-£45,000 + 10% Bonus + Pension + Full Benefits Package

Milton Keynes – Hybrid (2 days in the office)

Join a market-leading brand during an exciting phase of growth. This newly created role within the Group Procurement function has arisen due to expansion and increasing business demands. Reporting directly to the Head of Group Procurement, you’ll play a key role in supporting strategic sourcing across a diverse range of corporate categories.

About the Role

As an Indirect Procurement Specialist, you’ll gain exposure to all areas of corporate spend, including IT, Digital, Marketing, Fundraising, HR, Professional Services, and Travel. You’ll drive value through strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end sourcing across a broad range of indirect and corporate spend categories.
• Lead supplier relationship management (SRM) with key vendors.
• Negotiate and re-negotiate contracts with both existing and new suppliers.
• Identify opportunities to establish new frameworks aligned with market trends and business needs.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier partnerships, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and service.
• Collaborate with sector-relevant bodies to drive best practices and innovation.

Experience & Requirements

• Proven experience managing general indirect spend – particularly across IT, Marketing, HR, and Professional Services.
• Background in procurement or category management, ideally within a public sector or regulated environment.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Ability to analyse complex data and work collaboratively within a team.
• Degree-educated (preferred).
• MCIPS qualified or currently studying towards CIPS accreditation.
