The predicted salary is between 25000 - 35000 £ per year.
To drive and load recycling vehicles. Some days will be expected to load vehicles instead of driving and loading the vehicles. To work Bank Holidays and overtime when required. We are looking for Drivers to join our committed team in Waste and Recycling. Waste and recycling is a service that affects all our residents and we regularly get compliments for our teams and what they do. So if you are interested in joining a team that really makes a difference to the environment and the local community, we want to hear from you.
Experience
- Considerable experience and a working knowledge of waste and recycling collection activities and processes.
- Experience of multi point driving activities and waste & recycling collection driving duties.
- Experience of customer contact and knowledge of personnel safety issues in a customer environment.
- Experience and a working knowledge of H&S systems.
Knowledge
- A working knowledge of the range of equipment used by the teams and ability to provide advice on best practice and how to overcome problems.
- Good knowledge of geographical areas and characteristics.
