We require a full time temp housing officer for a year – 36 hours per week to start asap.Based at the Orchard Housing Office,
the key responsibilities include:-
Identifying vulnerable residents and working with partner agencies to ensure all residents can live safely and sustain their tenancies
all areas of Tenancy Management including: successions, assignments mutual exchanges and legal issues, including preparing statements and presenting these at court, boundary disputes and damage to property
the successful management of anti-social behaviour – proactive case management, negotiation, finding solutions, updating victims and keeping detailed records.
The successful candidate will need to be a resilient self-starter who thinks well on their feet in a variety of different, often challenging, situations.We are looking for people who relish a challenge and are able to deal with confrontation.
An attention to detail is essential. You will also need to be creative and demonstrably able to develop solutions to assist residents on our estates.
The role may involve some out of hours meetings and will also involve lone working. Daily use of a car and a full driving license is essential.
