About the Client: Our client is a rapidly expanding market leader in the design, manufacture, and servicing of advanced wastewater treatment systems. Operating from a modern facility in Newry, they are seeking a motivated Technical Engineer to bridge precision design and real-world project delivery. Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise SolidWorks/CAD to produce mechanical drawings, plantroom layouts, and schematics.
  • Translate customer specifications into manufacturable designs and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Collaborate with internal workshops, electrical engineers, and external site contractors.
  • Assist with project timelines, line efficiency, and minimizing delivery downtime.
  • Update technical, traceability, and environmental safety compliance documentation.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for on-site field engineering teams.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, Solid Edge, or AutoCAD.
  • Practical understanding of mechanical systems and process flow frameworks.
  • Valid UK driving licence for occasional site travel.
