Operating from a modern facility in Newry, they are seeking a motivated Technical Engineer to bridge precision design and real-world project delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise SolidWorks/CAD to produce mechanical drawings, plantroom layouts, and schematics.
- Translate customer specifications into manufacturable designs and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Collaborate with internal workshops, electrical engineers, and external site contractors.
- Assist with project timelines, line efficiency, and minimizing delivery downtime.
- Update technical, traceability, and environmental safety compliance documentation.
- Provide troubleshooting support for on-site field engineering teams.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, Solid Edge, or AutoCAD.
- Practical understanding of mechanical systems and process flow frameworks.
- Valid UK driving licence for occasional site travel.
