Talent Curve are recruiting for a Technical Author to join a leading engineering and manufacturing business specialising in heavy equipment solutions for global markets. You will play a key role in supporting product development, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement by producing high-quality documentation across a wide product range.

The Role

You will work closely with engineering, design, and sales teams to create and maintain technical documentation that supports products throughout their lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing user guides, maintenance manuals, troubleshooting documentation, and technical specifications
  • Translating complex engineering information into clear, accessible content
  • Liaising with internal teams and customers to gather accurate product data
  • Supporting sales teams with technical specifications and customer-facing documentation
  • Reviewing and improving existing technical documentation processes

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Technical writing or technical publishing experience
  • CAD design exposure
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Illustrator

Desirable:

  • Degree-qualified in an engineering discipline
  • Manufacturing or heavy equipment industry experience
  • Quarrying or recycling equipment sector knowledge
