Job Title: Finishing Foreman Location: Belfast Sector: Residential Construction (Apartments) Type: Permanent Salary: £45-50K Role Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman with a strong background in residential or commercial construction. The successful candidate will ensure that all finishes, from plastering to joinery, are delivered to the highest standards and in line with project timelines. Key Responsibilities: Liaise closely with the Site Manager, design teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination. Oversee and manage site labour and subcontractors, focusing on the completion of finishing works such as plastering, painting, carpentry, and flooring. Plan and schedule finishing tasks, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to meet deadlines. Maintain detailed site records, including daily diaries and weekly reports, ensuring all documentation is up to date. Coordinate and manage snagging works, ensuring all snag lists are addressed promptly and to the highest standard. Ensure compliance with building regulations, health and safety protocols, and company quality standards throughout all finishing stages. Act as a key point of contact for client representatives and purchasers, handling any queries related to finishing works. Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to support handover processes and resolve any issues arising post-completion. Requirements: Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman within residential or mixed-use projects. Strong knowledge of trades, particularly carpentry, and an in-depth understanding of construction methods. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. Up-to-date knowledge of building regulations and certification standards.
