We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to lead delivery on a major road construction project in Louth, with a strong focus on earthworks and site works. This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving performance on site and ensuring safety, quality, and programme targets are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage site teams, including engineers, direct labour, and subcontractors across all earthworks and site works activities
- Drive project progress on site, planning and coordinating daily operations to maintain programme momentum
- Oversee Temporary Works design and coordination
- Take full ownership of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) compliance at all times
- Implement and maintain strict quality control procedures
- Work closely with the Project Manager to support day-to-day project delivery
- Provide input on constructability, cost efficiency, and overall project performance
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive site records in line with internal procedures
- Identify and escalate risks or issues that may impact programme, cost, resources, or safety
- Contribute to programme development, including master programmes, 6-week lookaheads, and short-term planning
- Coordinate and prioritise site activities to ensure efficient sequencing of works
- Deliver works in line with the project plan, ensuring timelines and budgets are met

- Proven experience managing civil engineering projects, ideally within roads or infrastructure
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent understanding of earthworks and site operations
- Confident in programme planning and short-term scheduling
