Location: Omagh, Co Tyrone

Talent Curve is proud to be partnering with a well-established civil engineering contractor based in Omagh. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful team, working across a variety of Civils projects within Ireland.

The Role:

  • Conduct safety audits, inspections, and investigations; compile reports and ensure compliance is consistently maintained.
  • Ensure the completion and regular review of Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
  • Ensure all accidents and near misses are documented, investigated and the recommended improvements are implemented.
  • Ensure that employees, contractors, and site visitors receive site induction.
  • Plan and coordinate SHEQ related training for employees.
  • Maintain and update all relevant SHEQ Department administration.

Qualifications, knowledge, and experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar Health and Safety role.
  • NEBOSH (or equivalent) Qualification Certificate minimum held for at least 2 years.
  • Environmental and Quality qualification is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and team building skills.
  • Well-developed organisation/planning skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills, provides solutions.
  • Sound IT skills and strong experience including Microsoft packages.
  • Must have the right to work in UK and Republic of Ireland.
  • A valid driving licence is essential for travel to site locations.
