The Opportunity

We are working with a well-established engineering company that designs and builds heavy machinery and production systems used across the construction and infrastructure sectors. There is a strong focus on bespoke machinery, so the work is varied and problem-solving driven rather than repetitive.

The Role

You will be responsible for developing mechanical designs for a range of equipment and systems, working as part of a close-knit engineering team. Day-to-day, this will include:

  • Creating 2D and 3D CAD designs for machinery and components
  • Developing concepts into detailed, manufacturable designs
  • Producing engineering drawings and production documentation
  • Working closely with fabrication and manufacturing teams
  • Supporting projects from initial design through to installation
  • Contributing to design reviews and continuous improvement

What You’ll Need

  • Third level qualification in an Engineering related field (Degree preferred, HNC minimum)
  • Understanding of mechanical systems and heavy engineering
  • Comfortable working in a practical, hands-on environment
  • Experience in machinery, structural design, or industrial equipment would be a strong advantage.
