We’re working with a well-established local manufacturing firm that’s continuing to grow, and they’re on the lookout for a Manufacturing Supervisor to join the team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in fabrication who enjoys being hands-on, keeping things organised, and making sure projects run like clockwork.
You’ll be right in the middle of it all – coordinating between design, production, and customers to make sure everything moves smoothly from concept to delivery. If you’ve got solid experience in fabrication methods and production planning, this could be your next move.
This is a varied, fast-paced role where you’ll be taking responsibility for both people and process. You’ll be:
- Planning and managing production schedules to ensure deadlines are met
- Ordering and tracking materials to keep projects on course
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, providing updates and managing expectations
- Supporting design and production teams to ensure products are manufacturable and cost-effective
- Maintaining quality standards and resolving production issues quickly
- Driving improvements in efficiency, workflow, and overall production quality
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Understanding of fabrication techniques – welding, machining, cutting, bending, and assembly
- Experience using 3D design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar
- Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, and colleagues
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to prioritise competing tasks
- A practical problem-solver who enjoys improving processes
