Role Overview:
- Preparing accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation.
- Monitoring project costs and providing regular financial updates.
- Collaborating closely with contractors to ensure project specifications are met and adhered to.
- Working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Negotiating with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to optimize material costs.
- Identifying, managing, and mitigating commercial risks throughout project lifecycle.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role, preferably in the residential construction sector.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear, concise project updates to stakeholders.
- Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- A flexible, proactive approach, with a willingness to travel to project sites in Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Mainland UK as required.
