We're recruiting for a Production Engineer on behalf of a leading manufacturer within the crushing & screening sector. You'll work closely with the Production Manager and wider engineering team, supporting manufacturing operations, improving processes and helping drive continuous improvement across the factory.
The Role
- Support production activities and provide engineering assistance across manufacturing departments
- Manage and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production documentation
- Assist with engineering changes, drawing updates and manufacturing improvements
- Provide technical support to production supervisors and shop floor teams
- Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste and streamline production processes
- Liaise with engineering, production and aftersales teams to ensure projects run smoothly
- Support the introduction of new products and engineering change notices
- Produce and maintain manufacturing documentation and technical records
What We're Looking For
- Third-level qualification in an Engineering discipline
- 2+ years' experience within a production engineering or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of BOMs and production-related documentation
- Good working knowledge of CAD and Microsoft Excel
- Desirable
- Degree in an Engineering discipline
- Experience within heavy manufacturing, crushing & screening, quarrying or recycling equipment
- Experience using SigmaNEST and/or Steel Projects
