We are recruiting an ambitious Bid Manager to join a growing and respected contractor delivering high quality projects across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. This role offers the opportunity to get involved in a diverse range of projects including fit-out, refurbishment, maintenance and build. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work across Ireland, they are seeking a motivated Bid Manager to lead the delivery of high quality tender submissions across public and private sector projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end bid and tender process
  • Coordinate SQ/PQQ submissions and tender responses
  • Work with estimators and operational teams to develop competitive bid strategies
  • Manage tender programmes, deadlines, and submission compliance
  • Review client requirements and ensure full compliance with procurement criteria
  • Support framework applications and public-sector procurement submissions
  • Coordinate tender interviews and presentations
  • Maintain and improve the company bid library and submission templates
  • Monitor tender portals and identify suitable opportunities
  • Analyse feedback from successful and unsuccessful bids to drive continuous improvement

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Bid Manager, Proposals Manager, or Pre-Construction role within construction
  • Ideally a strong understanding of public-sector procurement and tendering processes
  • Excellent written communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Commercial awareness and strategic thinking
