We are recruiting an ambitious Bid Manager to join a growing and respected contractor delivering high quality projects across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. This role offers the opportunity to get involved in a diverse range of projects including fit-out, refurbishment, maintenance and build. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work across Ireland, they are seeking a motivated Bid Manager to lead the delivery of high quality tender submissions across public and private sector projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end bid and tender process
- Coordinate SQ/PQQ submissions and tender responses
- Work with estimators and operational teams to develop competitive bid strategies
- Manage tender programmes, deadlines, and submission compliance
- Review client requirements and ensure full compliance with procurement criteria
- Support framework applications and public-sector procurement submissions
- Coordinate tender interviews and presentations
- Maintain and improve the company bid library and submission templates
- Monitor tender portals and identify suitable opportunities
- Analyse feedback from successful and unsuccessful bids to drive continuous improvement
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Bid Manager, Proposals Manager, or Pre-Construction role within construction
- Ideally a strong understanding of public-sector procurement and tendering processes
- Excellent written communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Commercial awareness and strategic thinking
