Talent Curve are recruiting for a Die Maintenance Technician to join a well-established manufacturing business in Co. Antrim. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded maintenance professional with welding experience to join a busy production environment where you'll play a key role in keeping critical tooling and dies operating efficiently.
Working as part of the die maintenance team, you'll be responsible for servicing, repairing, modifying and maintaining production dies while supporting manufacturing operations and minimising downtime.
The Role
- Servicing and maintaining production dies to ensure optimum performance
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to dies and tooling
- Performing die modifications and improvements as required
- Welding and fabrication work to repair damaged tooling and components
- Grinding, blending and machining work to required quality standards
- Supporting production teams during breakdown situations
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and tolerances
- Completing maintenance documentation and inspection records
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the department
- Ensuring high standards of health & safety and housekeeping are maintained
What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Mechanical Maintenance or a related discipline
- Welding experience is essential
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Experience using workshop equipment and maintenance tools
- Flexibility to work shifts
