We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management company, working across a prestigious commercial site in Swindon.

The Role

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of mechanical building services equipment within a commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance.
  • Service, maintain and repair pumps, motors and associated mechanical plant.
  • Mechanical fault finding and repairs.
  • Maintain commercial building services equipment.
  • Complete maintenance records and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Work closely with the site team to maintain high service standards.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Previous experience working within Facilities Management or Building Services.
  • Strong knowledge of pumps, motors and mechanical plant.
  • Experience carrying out maintenance in commercial buildings.
  • Excellent fault-finding skills.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
