Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias - HVAC Background)

Location: Newmarket / Cambridge
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

We\'re looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer with a strong mechanical background (HVAC bias) to join a leading building services and facilities maintenance team covering commercial sites in the Newmarket and Cambridge area.

This is a hands-on role working across planned and reactive maintenance, focusing on HVAC systems and supporting general building services as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems including HVAC, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, and motors.
  • Diagnose and repair faults across a range of mechanical and basic electrical systems.
  • Support minor installation and upgrade works as required.
  • Ensure all maintenance is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health & safety procedures.
  • Liaise with clients and site teams to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime.
  • Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
