The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HVAC Maintenance / Service Engineer with a strong ventilation bias to join an established maintenance team covering commercial sites across London. This role is suited to an engineer who is confident working independently, with solid experience in ventilation systems, planned maintenance, and fault finding.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across multiple sites
- Attend reactive breakdowns and carry out fault diagnosis
- Service and maintain:
- Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- Fans and ventilation systems
- Ductwork systems
Ventilation Focus (Key Requirement)
This role requires strong experience in:
- Ventilation systems
- Ductwork
- Fire damper testing and remedials
- Ventilation hygiene and airflow systems
Knowledge of the following is highly desirable:
- TR19 guidelines
- BSEN 15780 standards
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in HVAC maintenance and fault finding
- Strong knowledge of:
- AHUs
- Fans and ventilation systems
- VRV/VRF and split systems (desirable)
- Chillers, pumps and associated plant (desirable)
Qualifications
Essential:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Heating and Ventilation (or equivalent)
- Proven maintenance and fault-finding experience
- Full UK driving licence
