Basic Salary: Up to £33k + Bonus OTE - £38k

Location: Cardiff (Glamorgan)

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Additional: 2 in 4 Saturday mornings at time and half o/t

We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our clients' modern Bodyshop, based in Cardiff (Glamorgan). You will need a positive can-do attitude and be hard working, efficient and have great housekeeping. In return our client offers a world class working environment, as well as personal development and training.

You will have at least 3 years experience in a similar role and an NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification. An MOT License is desirable but not essential.

Role responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Carry out all engine repairs in line with approved methods
  • Inspect vehicle components to assess wear, damage, or required replacements
  • Plan and organise time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed within set deadlines
  • Assist with general workshop tasks as and when required
  • Deal with warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards
  • Ensure all the relevant documentation is accurately completed and all company procedures are followed
  • Communicate effectively with all departments to ensure a smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
