An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join a busy, insurance-led Accident Repair Centre in Slough. Working within a modern Bodyshop, you will be the first point of contact for customers throughout the repair process, ensuring they receive an outstanding level of service from vehicle drop-off through to collection. You'll work closely with Estimators, Technicians and insurers to keep customers informed, manage expectations and ensure repairs progress efficiently.
The Main Purpose of the Role:
- Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the vehicle repair journey.
- Provide a professional and friendly service by telephone, email and face-to-face.
- Keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicle repairs and manage expectations.
- Liaise with Estimators, Technicians, insurers and colleagues to ensure repairs are completed efficiently.
- Complete customer administration, maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Explain completed repairs, finalise paperwork and support a smooth vehicle handover.
You Will Have:
- Previous experience as a Customer Service Advisor, Bodyshop Customer Service Advisor, Automotive Customer Service Advisor, Service Advisor or Customer Care Advisor.
- Experience working within an Accident Repair Centre, Bodyshop, Vehicle Repair Centre, Main Dealer or Automotive Workshop.
- Excellent customer service, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Good IT skills with experience using customer service or bodyshop management systems.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A professional, positive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
