Talent Connect are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established, independent Accident Repair Centre in Peterborough for an experienced Bodyshop Service Advisor.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience working within a bodyshop, accident repair centre, or vehicle repair workshop, who understands the repair process and enjoys delivering first-class customer service.
Working closely with customers, technicians and management, you'll oversee repairs from booking through to completion, ensuring every vehicle progresses smoothly through the workshop while maintaining exceptional customer communication.
The Role
As the Bodyshop Service Advisor, you will be responsible for
- Welcoming customers and managing the complete vehicle repair journey.
- Booking vehicles into the bodyshop and setting up repair jobs.
- Producing repair estimates and pricing repair work.
- Liaising with technicians to monitor vehicle repairs and workshop progress.
- Providing customers with regular updates throughout the repair process.
- Ordering parts and coordinating repair schedules.
- Supporting the efficient day-to-day running of the accident repair centre.
- Ensuring workshop paperwork and repair documentation are accurate and up to date.
- Maintaining clean, organised reception and workshop areas.
- Working closely with the Workshop Manager to maximise efficiency and customer satisfaction.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have
- Previous experience as a Bodyshop Service Advisor, Customer Service Advisor, Workshop Controller, Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA), Estimator, or similar role within an Accident Repair Centre or Bodyshop.
- A good technical understanding of vehicle body repairs and the accident repair process.
- Experience pricing repairs or preparing estimates would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple repair jobs.
- Good IT skills and experience using bodyshop management systems.
- A proactive attitude and excellent attention to detail.

- Basic salary of £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.
- Annual bonus.
- Monday to Friday working hours only (8:00am - 6:00pm).
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
