An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Parts Assistant to join a busy, insurance-led Accident Repair Centre in Maidenhead. Working within a modern, well-equipped Bodyshop, you will be responsible for ordering, receiving and managing vehicle parts to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards. You'll work closely with Estimators, Workshop Controllers and Technicians to ensure the correct parts are available at the right time, helping to minimise repair delays and maximise workshop productivity.

This role would suit an experienced Parts Assistant, Parts Advisor, Automotive Parts Advisor, Bodyshop Parts Advisor or Parts Person with experience working within an Accident Repair Centre, Bodyshop, Main Dealer or Automotive Workshop.

The Main Purpose of the Role
  • Order genuine and aftermarket vehicle parts from approved suppliers.
  • Receive, inspect and organise parts deliveries, ensuring all items are checked and allocated to the correct repair jobs.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels for vehicle parts, paint and workshop consumables.
  • Process supplier returns, warranty parts and special orders where required.
  • Liaise with Estimators, Workshop Controllers, Technicians and suppliers to ensure parts are available and repairs remain on schedule.
  • Complete all parts documentation accurately while maintaining a clean, organised and safe parts department.
You Will Have
  • Previous experience as a Parts Assistant, Parts Advisor, Automotive Parts Advisor or Parts Person.
  • Experience working within an Accident Repair Centre, Bodyshop, Main Dealer or Automotive Workshop.
  • Good knowledge of vehicle parts, stock control and automotive repair processes.
  • Experience using automotive parts or workshop management systems.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and IT skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy workshop environment.
  • A proactive attitude, strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
