Are you an events professional who thrives when the pressure's on? We are working with a fab agency and are looking for someone who rolls their sleeves up, can manage a variety of projects and always goes that extra mile to deliver perfection. The role will see you working with a mega client helping to deliver 5* attendee experiences at major UK sporting events and also supporting the wider agency delivering live events across the UK for other household names.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing the full event lifecycle - from brief and concept through to delivery and post-event evaluation
- Acting as the primary client contact on a key agency account
- Developing detailed event plans, timelines, proposals, and all things operational
- Taking full ownership of budgets and the commercials relating to your key account
- Sourcing venues and negotiating supplier contracts
- Managing delegate registration and logistics across multiple concurrent projects
- Delivering on-site across the UK (and occasionally internationally)
You'll be someone who:
- Has solid corporate event management experience, ideally including hospitality and/or sporting events
- Is equally comfortable in a spreadsheet as you are on-site in a high-pressure environment
- Can juggle multiple projects at different stages without losing focus
- Manages budgets with confidence and precision
- Builds strong client relationships
- Is flexible, this role can involve some weekend working and travel
The setup: Hybrid working — 2 days in the Wiltshire office, the rest from home. On-site time across the UK thrown in for good measure.
