You know how to open doors and start meaningful conversations. Now imagine doing it for one of the planet’s most recognised media brands. We are looking for a commercially sharp Sales Executive to drive sponsorship revenue across an exciting and expanding international events portfolio which has premium thought leadership content at its heart.
If you can sell ideas as well as packages and you understand the difference between a pitch and a partnership — this one’s for you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Selling sponsorship for both content within events (keynotes, roundtables, whitepapers, sponsored content) and the events themselves (conferences, summits, webinars)
- Building and managing relationships with C-suite and senior marketing decision-makers
- Developing tailored sponsorship packages that align to clients’ brand objectives and audience targets
- Driving CEO membership sales internationally, working in close collaboration with the US team
- Owning your pipeline - hitting and exceeding individual targets with a constant eye on quality over quantity
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Commercial awareness - you think in revenue, ROI, and long-term value
- Sales smarts and proactivity - you don’t wait for leads, you create them
- Proven experience in sponsorship or media sales, ideally across events and content
- Confidence in navigating complex sales cycles and senior-level / C Suite conversations
- Collaborative - you work well across internal teams to get deals over the line
This isn’t the kind of opportunity that comes around too often – selling for a truly global publisher whose event portfolio is really taking off. Salary will be circa £35k p.a with a structured comms package based on confirmed sales.
