They serve clients both in the UK and internationally. As a long-standing agency, they take pride in delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards in the Civil Engineering sector. They work with a diverse range of clients, including construction firms, infrastructure companies, and engineering consultancies.
What is the role?
The company is now seeking a Senior Recruitment Consultant to support existing clients and develop new business within the Civil Engineering sector. Once new clients are onboarded, they will be maintained and serviced by supplying top-tier candidates for review.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the Civil Engineering industry, strong recruitment skills, and a passion for connecting talented professionals with leading organisations. They will also have an established network within the sector, with the ability to secure their own clients and provide excellent service. Strong communication skills and resilience are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with clients in the Civil Engineering sector, understanding their hiring needs and project requirements.
- Utilise advanced sourcing techniques to identify, attract, and engage top candidates across various civil engineering disciplines.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job briefings to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Provide expert guidance and ongoing support to clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory updates, and market developments in Civil Engineering to offer valuable insights.
- Mentor and support junior recruitment consultants as the team expands, fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.
- In time, manage your own team of Recruitment Consultants.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in recruitment, ideally within the Civil Engineering or construction sectors.
- Proven success in achieving billings within the recruitment industry.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, key industry players, and project types.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to commute to Woking at least 3 times a week.
- Strong sales and business development acumen.
