We are working exclusively with a high-growth specialist recruitment consultancy operating across the European MedTech and medical devices market. Due to increased demand, they are now seeking to hire a Senior Recruitment Consultant with expertise in IT, specifically within the software engineering sector. This is an excellent opportunity to join a values-led, niche consultancy with a strong reputation in regulatory affairs, quality, clinical, digital health and emerging medical technologies.

The Role

As a Principal Recruitment Consultant specialising in Software Engineering, you will take ownership of a defined IT market, delivering recruitment solutions across permanent and/or contract roles. A background in the Contract element of this sector would be a huge bonus and would set you apart from other applicants.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Recruiting software engineers across disciplines such as backend, frontend, full-stack, cloud, embedded and data.
  • Building long-term relationships with technology leaders, engineering managers and CTO-level stakeholders.
  • Contacting existing clients to build rapport, as well as locating new ones.
  • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from client briefing through to offer and onboarding.
  • Proactively sourcing and engaging high-calibre software engineering talent.
  • Advising clients on market trends, hiring strategies and technical skill availability.
  • Developing your desk through networking, referrals and market intelligence.

You’ll be a commercially driven IT recruiter with a passion for technology and relationship-led recruitment. We’re looking for someone with:
