Fancy joining a recruitment business where there’s already a platform to succeed — but still plenty of room to make your mark? We’re partnering with an established international recruitment business with an outstanding reputation across specialist recruitment and executive search. Following an incredibly successful 2025 and first half of 2026, the UK business is continuing to invest in its permanent recruitment offering and is looking for an experienced Principal Recruitment Consultant to join the team.

The UK operation may still be relatively small, but it’s already delivering impressive results, generating significant net profit over the last 18 months through its permanent recruitment business. Now they want another experienced recruiter to help take it further. This isn’t about walking into a rigid desk with a list of accounts you’re expected to service. You’ll have the freedom to develop your own market, build relationships with clients, utilise existing relationships across the wider business and create a genuinely successful desk. Whether your strongest opportunities sit in the UK, Europe or US, there’s flexibility to build around your experience and network.

The Opportunity

This is a senior billing role for someone who enjoys the full recruitment process. You’ll be responsible for developing and growing a profitable permanent recruitment desk, winning new clients and becoming a trusted recruitment partner within your market. There are already relationships, infrastructure and international reach to leverage, but you’ll also be encouraged to bring your own ideas and approach. You won’t be micromanaged. You won’t be restricted to a tiny patch. And you won’t be treated like another number on a huge sales floor. You’ll be joining a growing UK operation where strong performers can have a genuine influence on what the business becomes.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Running a full 360 permanent recruitment desk.
  • Developing new business and building long-term client relationships.
  • Managing recruitment processes from initial vacancy through to placement.
  • Building a strong candidate network within your specialist market.
  • Leveraging existing relationships and opportunities across the wider business.
  • Identifying opportunities across the UK and international markets.
  • Working closely with senior leadership to develop your market.
  • Becoming a key contributor to the continued growth of the UK operation.

What We're Looking For

You’ll ideally be an experienced agency recruiter operating at Senior, Principal or Managing Consultant level who still enjoys billing and wants the freedom to build something substantial. You'll ideally have:

  • A successful background in 360 permanent recruitment.
  • Experience within IT, Technology, Change, Transformation or a related professional market.
  • A proven track record of generating recruitment revenue.
  • Strong business development skills.
  • The ability to win, develop and retain client relationships.
  • A commercial and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Confidence dealing with senior-level candidates and clients.
  • The ambition to become one of the key performers within a growing business.

You don't need to arrive with management experience. This is first and foremost about finding an excellent recruiter who can win business, deliver assignments and generate revenue. If leadership is something you want in the future, however, there’s absolutely scope to build towards it as the UK team continues to grow.

What's In It For You?

  • Highly competitive basic salary
  • Uncapped commission
  • Excellent earning potential
  • Generous holiday allowance
  • Existing client relationships and international infrastructure to leverage
  • Freedom to develop your own specialist market
  • International opportunities across the UK, Europe and US
  • Significant backing from an established international recruitment business
  • A smaller UK environment where your performance is genuinely noticed
  • Clear progression as the business continues to expand

There are plenty of recruitment businesses offering experienced consultants another desk. Far fewer can offer the backing of an established international business alongside the autonomy of a growing UK operation. If you’re an experienced permanent recruiter who wants more freedom, bigger opportunities and the chance to become an important part of a growing business, we’d love to have a confidential conversation.
