Realistic Six-Figure OTE
Fancy building something rather than inheriting it? Most leadership roles come with a team. This one comes with an opportunity to build your own!
We're partnering with an established international recruitment business that's built an outstanding reputation across specialist recruitment and executive search. Following continued investment in the UK market and an incredibly successful 2025 and first half of 2026, they're looking for someone to build their contract recruitment division from the ground up.
The UK business, while small, has already amassed an impressive net profit over the last 18 months by focusing on the perm side of the market. Ideally, the new person will link up with the team to help with contract requirements for current clients and introduce new ones to the business. You'll have the autonomy, backing and investment to establish a contract division that can become a significant part of the wider international business.
Whether you believe the biggest opportunity sits in the UK, Europe or the US is entirely up to you. The remit is genuinely international, and the strategy is yours to shape.
The Opportunity
This is a rare chance to combine billing, leadership and business building. You'll be responsible for creating and growing the contract recruitment division, developing new client relationships, making key hires and ultimately building a high-performing team around you. You'll be trusted to make commercial decisions, influence strategy and help shape the future direction of the UK business.
If you've ever wanted to build your own recruitment business without the financial risk of starting one yourself... This could be exactly what you've been waiting for.
What You'll Be Doing
- Building the UK contract recruitment division from scratch.
- Developing a long-term strategy across the UK, Europe and the US.
- Winning new business and growing strategic client relationships.
- Building and managing your own profitable contract desk.
- Hiring, mentoring and developing recruiters as the division grows.
- Working closely with international leadership to drive expansion.
- Playing a key role in the continued growth of the UK business.
What We're Looking For
You're likely to be one of the following:
- A Contract Recruitment Manager looking for more autonomy.
- A Principal or Managing Consultant who's always wanted to build something of their own.
- An experienced contract recruiter with a proven track record of growing revenue and winning new business.
You'll ideally have:
- A successful background in 360 contract recruitment.
- Strong business development skills.
- A commercial and entrepreneurial mindset.
- The ambition to build and lead a high-performing team.
- The credibility to operate with senior stakeholders across international markets.
Previous management experience would be advantageous, but your ability to build, influence and grow a business is far more important.
What's In It For You?
- Up to £80,000 basic salary
- Uncapped commission
- Realistic six-figure OTE
- Generous holiday allowance
- The opportunity to build your own division from day one
- Genuine autonomy over strategy and market direction
- International remit covering the UK, Europe and the US
- Significant investment and backing from an established global recruitment business
- A clear route to becoming one of the key leaders within the UK operation
There aren't many opportunities where you're given the freedom, investment and trust to build an international contract recruitment division your way. This is one of them.
If you're ready to create something rather than inherit it, we'd love to have a confidential conversation.
