What if you could build a market without having to build a business from scratch?

We're partnering with an established international Executive Search and Leadership Advisory firm looking for a strong recruiter to help develop one of the newer areas of its business.

The firm has an established reputation and track record across several executive search markets, but Projects, Programmes, Change, Transformation & Technology Leadership is a much newer area for them.

There's already a platform, brand, infrastructure and senior client network in place.

What they now need is someone with genuine experience in this market who can help them grow it properly.

The Opportunity

  • You'll take a leading role in developing the firm's interim and contract offering across:
  • Projects
  • Programmes
  • Change & Transformation
  • Technology

Rather than inheriting a fully developed desk and simply maintaining it, you'll have the opportunity to influence how the market is built.

You'll work with the wider business to identify opportunities within existing relationships while also developing your own client network and bringing new organisations into the firm.

The aim is simple: Turn a relatively new area of the business into an established and significant practice.

You'll have the backing of an executive search firm with offices in London and New York, established senior relationships and experience working across multiple sectors.

But they aren't looking for someone to sit back and wait for roles.

They want a recruiter who understands this market, knows how to generate opportunities and is excited by the prospect of building something.

What Could You Recruit?

Your assignments could include

  • Programme Directors
  • Transformation Directors
  • Change Directors
  • CIOs / CTOs
  • Technology Directors
  • Digital Transformation Leaders
  • Heads of Change
  • Heads of Transformation
  • PMO Directors
  • Technology Transformation Leaders
  • Business Transformation Leaders
  • Senior Project & Programme Professionals

The emphasis will be on senior interim and contract appointments, often supporting businesses through periods of significant change, transformation or technology investment.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for an established recruiter who already understands the Projects, Programmes, Change, Transformation or Technology market.

You'll ideally bring

  • A strong track record within interim or contract recruitment
  • Experience recruiting across Projects, Programmes, Change, Transformation and/or Technology
  • The ability to develop business rather than simply service existing accounts
  • An established network within your market
  • Experience dealing with senior stakeholders
  • Strong commercial instincts
  • A consultative approach to recruitment
  • The confidence and ambition to help develop a newer practice

Previous Executive Search experience isn't essential.

You may currently work within a traditional recruitment agency and be looking for an opportunity to take what you've built and apply it within a more senior, sophisticated search environment.

Why This Opportunity?

Because you're not starting from zero.

You'll have the backing of an established Executive Search business, an existing client network and relationships at senior leadership and C-suite level.

But you're also not joining a desk that's been doing the same thing for 15 years.

There's room to make an impact.

Room to develop the market.

Room to influence the direction of the practice.

And, if you're successful, room to become a significant part of its future growth.

It's an opportunity for a strong Projects, Programmes, Change or Technology recruiter who wants more than simply inheriting somebody else's desk.

The platform is already there.

Now they need the person who can help build the market properly.

Package & Benefits

The business understands that attracting an established recruiter with a strong track record in this market requires a competitive package.

For the right person, they can offer

  • Highly competitive basic salary – dependent on experience and track record
  • Uncapped commission/bonus potential
  • Strong earning potential as the practice grows
  • Hybrid working from their Central London office
  • Established executive search brand and infrastructure
  • Access to existing senior and C-suite client relationships
  • Opportunity to leverage relationships across the firm's established practices
  • International platform across London and New York
  • Genuine autonomy over the development of the market
  • Scope to build a significant desk/practice rather than simply inherit one
  • Long-term progression as the Projects, Programmes, Change & Technology offering develops

This is particularly suited to someone who wants the entrepreneurial opportunity of building a market, but doesn't want the risk of starting from scratch.

You'll have the brand, infrastructure, research capability and senior relationships of an established Executive Search firm behind you – with the opportunity to make this newer practice your own.
