A growing engineering and manufacturing business is looking to appoint an experienced Sales Manager to drive new business opportunities and develop key customer relationships across the UK. The company supplies precision metal components and engineered solutions to a range of industries including aerospace, oil & gas, rail, automotive and general engineering.

The Role

This role is responsible for developing new business while also managing and growing existing customer relationships. You will work closely with internal engineering and production teams to support customers requiring precision castings and engineered metal components.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing new business opportunities across engineering and manufacturing sectors
  • Managing and growing existing customer accounts
  • Identifying opportunities for precision castings and engineered components
  • Working with technical teams to develop commercial proposals
  • Visiting customers and building relationships with engineering and procurement teams
  • Managing and developing a strong sales pipeline

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a sales or business development role within engineering or manufacturing
  • Background selling technical or engineered products
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with customers
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable engaging with both engineering and procurement teams
