We are hiring for one of our prime clients seeking a vigilant and responsible Lifeguard to join a premium health and wellness club environment. This role is essential in maintaining a safe poolside environment while ensuring members enjoy a positive and engaging swimming experience. The successful candidate will supervise pool areas, enforce safety procedures, conduct routine pool tests, and maintain accurate documentation in line with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor swimming pools and surrounding areas to ensure the safety of members and guests
- Enforce pool rules and safety procedures consistently
- Conduct routine pool water tests in accordance with company guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of safety checks and water quality tests
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies or incidents
- Ensure poolside areas remain clean, organised, and compliant with safety regulations
- Support members to ensure they have a safe and enjoyable swimming experience
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Valid NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) certification
- Strong understanding of pool safety and emergency procedures
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- Passion for health, fitness, and member wellbeing
- Ability to remain alert and respond calmly in emergency situations
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to share knowledge and best practices
