We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients, a leading organisation within the higher education sector. The Digital Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and optimising paid digital marketing campaigns to promote educational programmes, drive student enrolment, and strengthen brand visibility.
This role requires strong expertise in Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram) advertising, data analysis, and performance marketing. The successful candidate will make a measurable impact on student recruitment outcomes and overall business growth through data-driven decision-making and campaign optimisation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive PPC strategies focused on student recruitment and lead generation.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and audience segmentation to identify growth opportunities.
- Create and manage paid campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Set up, monitor, and optimise PPC campaigns to maximise ROI and achieve enrolment targets.
- Manage budgets, bidding strategies, and channel allocation effectively.
- Scale high-performing campaigns while maintaining efficiency and cost control.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-intent and high-converting opportunities.
- Write compelling ad copy aligned with brand messaging and value propositions.
- Collaborate with creative teams to test and refine images, videos, carousels, reels, and other ad formats.
- Build and manage advanced audience strategies including custom audiences, lookalikes, interest-based and behavioural targeting.
- Design and implement retargeting strategies to guide prospects through the full funnel—from awareness to conversion.
- Work closely with marketing and web teams to optimise landing pages for performance and user experience.
- Apply best practices in conversion rate optimisation to improve lead quality and conversion outcomes.
- Monitor and analyse KPIs including CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, and LTV.
- Use analytics tools to generate insights and inform optimisation decisions.
- Produce weekly and monthly performance reports with clear, actionable recommendations.
- Ensure all campaigns comply with platform policies and advertising standards.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging ad formats.
- Proactively recommend innovative strategies to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Manager or Paid Media Manager, ideally within the higher education sector.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.
- Excellent understanding of PPC strategy, keyword research, ad copywriting, and optimisation techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Experience using analytics and tracking tools such as Google Analytics and conversion tracking platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong collaboration skills with experience working cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and web development teams.
