A major international private bank is seeking established Executive Directors, Managing Directors, and high-performing teams to join its rapidly expanding APAC Private Banking division.

Over the last several years, the bank has quietly transformed its presence across Asia, investing heavily into talent, platform capabilities, investment expertise, lending solutions, and cross-border wealth structuring. As a result, the APAC franchise has become one of the fastest-growing and most successful businesses within the wider group.

The bank is now entering the next phase of its growth strategy and is seeking experienced Private Bankers and entire teams capable of accelerating market penetration across Greater China, South-East Asia, India, North Asia, and broader international Asian client segments.

The Opportunity

This is not a replacement hire. This is a strategic investment into the future growth of the APAC business. Successful individuals will join a platform that has demonstrated a long-term commitment to hiring elite talent and providing them with the resources, flexibility, and infrastructure required to build substantial franchises. The bank has become particularly well known for successfully integrating entrepreneurial bankers and teams, offering a culture that combines the stability of an established institution with the agility typically associated with boutique private banks.

Why This Platform?

  • Significant investment into the APAC business globally.
  • Proven track record of attracting and integrating successful teams.
  • Strong cross-border booking capabilities.
  • Comprehensive investment, lending, wealth planning and structuring solutions.
  • Entrepreneurial culture with direct access to senior leadership.
  • Collaborative environment focused on long-term client relationships.
  • Exceptional support infrastructure designed to maximise client acquisition and wallet share.

Compensation

The remuneration model is widely regarded as one of the strongest available within the London private banking market. The bank offers an exceptionally transparent and rewarding compensation framework designed to recognise entrepreneurial success, team growth, client acquisition and long-term franchise development. For established teams and proven revenue generators, the model creates a highly compelling long-term earnings opportunity while providing the security and platform of a major international institution.

Candidate Profile

We are interested in speaking with:

  • Executive Directors and Managing Directors.
  • Established Private Banking teams considering a collective move.
  • Individuals managing High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth client portfolios.
  • Professionals with strong networks across APAC markets.
  • Bankers with a proven track record in asset gathering, client acquisition and revenue generation.
  • Individuals seeking a long‑term platform capable of supporting substantial future growth.

Team Moves Encouraged

The bank has a strong history of successfully onboarding teams and understands the importance of preserving client servicing models, internal partnerships, and market dynamics. Applications from complete teams, pods, market groups and established franchises are particularly welcomed.

Confidential Search

Due to the strategic nature of these hires, all discussions will be treated with the strictest confidence. Initial conversations will focus on the opportunity, platform, culture, growth ambitions and long-term strategic vision before any disclosure of the institution's identity.
