About the job
The Project Manager key roles and responsibilities encompass project initiation through to close including delegating tasks, monitoring progress, budgeting, ensuring coordination among team members and collaboration. They provide day to day management of internal and client facing projects, workstreams and tasks, interfacing with consultancy and operational teams to complete defined deliverables.
Responsibilities / Objectives
- Facilitating projects from initiation to completion, including supporting through quoting and engagement with potential clients.
- Managing projects independently or with support, consisting of a number of deliverables and workstreams requiring client and supplier interaction.
- Delivering projects within scope, on time, and within budget.
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with Technical Project Leads (TPLs), the project team, and internal/external stakeholders.
- Communicating project progress, risks, and issues clearly and accurately to the TPLs and stakeholders.
- Acting as the main point of contact with clients, representing Broughton.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Chemistry or related subject (desirable).
- Project Management Prince2, Agile or similar (preferred).
Key Skills / Attributes
- Minimum 1 year of experience in client-facing project management.
- Experience in budgetary control and effective management of deviations.
- Experience in project design and planning.
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
- High level IT skills including project software, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Scientific background or experience working within a scientific industry preferred.
Location: Earby, Lancashire, BB18 6JZ. They will consider full and part-time; location would be on site or hybrid for a full-time position.
