Are you an experienced HGV Mechanic seeking a new challenge? Do you take pride in your work and possess a can-do attitude? Are you ready to take full ownership of your workshop? Our client is currently looking for an enthusiastic HGV Mechanic to join their busy team in Blythe Bridge!
As our HGV Mechanic, you will be entrusted with the general repairs and any accident damage to a fleet of over 60 HGV vehicles. You will take full ownership of the workshop, ensuring your stock levels are managed efficiently and your working area remains tidy. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with suppliers for parts
- Accurately reporting your actions to the Transport Office
- Performing various repairs on our vehicles, including curtain repairs, vehicle camera systems, and maintenance on forklift trucks and mobile sweepers
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm (No shifts, evenings or weekend work)
HGV Mechanic Requirements:
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise your workload
- Capability to work both in a team and independently
- Basic IT skills; experience in welding/gas cutting/grinding is beneficial (training can be provided)
