We are currently looking for a Stock and Inventory Assistant to join our busy team in Tiptree, Essex, CO5 0JA! As a Stock and Inventory Assistant, you will take the helm of stock management, ensuring accuracy in data entry and inventory checks. You will interrogate technical data, assist with stock takes and reconciliations, and collaborate with the production team to facilitate timely deliveries. Your analytical skills will contribute to cost-saving measures and optimise stock levels, all while supporting the continuous improvement programs within our Stores Department.

Hours of Work: Monday-Friday, 07:30-17:00 or 06:00-15:30 (flexibility with working hours is essential as overtime will be required from time to time) 45 hours per week.

Stock and Inventory Assistant Requirements:

  • Solid knowledge of stock control methods.
  • Good Maths and English skills.
  • PC literate and conversant with the MS Office suite.
  • Knowledge of Syspro or a similar ERP system preferred.
  • Valid Fork Lift Truck Licence.
