The Role

In this strategic role, you\’ll act as the link between finance and operations, working across multiple sites to deliver insight, influence decision-making, and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Collaboration

1. Partner with operational teams to understand business drivers, KPIs, and performance goals.
2. Deliver timely financial insights that influence cost control and performance improvement.
3. Help shape the financial narrative across sites through data, dashboards, and discussion.

Month-End & Year-End Ownership

1. Lead efficient month-end and year-end processes reconciliations, reviews, reporting.
2. Support annual activities like stock counts, standard cost reviews, and statutory compliance.

Forecasting & Capex

1. Own site-level forecasting and profitability updates.
2. Support and submit capital expenditure documentation.
3. Identify and resolve issues, challenge the status quo, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements for the Role

Experience & Skills

1. Professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with 5+ years in a manufacturing/operational finance role.
2. Track record of delivering accurate reporting and financial insight in fast-paced environments.
3. Comfortable engaging across all levels from the factory floor to senior stakeholders.
4. Advanced Excel and strong ERP/reporting system skills.
5. A sharp analytical thinker who solves problems and sees the big picture.
