We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run dairy farm in Wiltshire for a permanent, full-time position within their on-site team. This opportunity would suit an individual with previous dairy or livestock experience who is looking to join a professional farming business with high standards of animal welfare, a strong team ethic, and long-term career prospects.
Qualifications and Experience:
- NVQ Level 2 in Agriculture, Dairy Production, Livestock, or a related land-based subject (or equivalent)
- Previous practical experience within a dairy or livestock farming environment
- Good understanding of animal welfare, livestock husbandry, and day-to-day herd routines
- Ability to follow farm procedures and maintain high standards of hygiene, welfare, and consistency
- Good awareness of health and safety within an agricultural environment
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider farm team
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience in youngstock management and calf rearing
- AI qualification or practical experience
- Experience supporting herd health treatments and daily livestock checks
- Confidence operating agricultural machinery
- Telehandler certificate or practical experience
- Tractor driving licence or practical experience
- Experience working within a modern dairy setup
- Practical understanding of grazing management and feeding systems
- Additional training in agriculture, livestock, machinery operation, or animal health would be welcomed
