A well-established agricultural and renewable energy business based in East Anglia is looking to recruit an AD Plant Operator to join their expanding operation. This is a hands-on position supporting the day-to-day running of a busy anaerobic digestion plant, including feeding, monitoring, maintenance, and ensuring the site operates safely and efficiently.

The Role:

  • Monitoring plant performance and reporting findings to management
  • Accurate feeding and operation of the AD plant
  • Carrying out routine plant maintenance and basic repairs
  • Monitoring plant health and overall efficiency
  • Supporting the wider operations team to achieve daily targets
  • Participating in on-call duties when required
  • Maintaining high standards of health & safety and site compliance
  • Assisting with pest control and general site upkeep

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience within AD plants, farming, machinery operation, engineering, or a similar environment
  • NVQ Level 2 or above within a relevant sector is essential
  • Practical and mechanically minded
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and strong awareness of health & safety
  • Flexible attitude towards working hours and operational requirements
