Our client are a (Managed Service Provider), we deliver high-performance IT services to clients across the UK, empowering businesses to stay connected and secure. With ever growing demand for our 25+ years of expertise, we’re on the lookout for a talented Network Support Engineer to join our expanding networking team. What You’ll Do As a Network Support Engineer, with the wider team you’ll be the go-to specialist for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimising complex network infrastructures. You’ll support both LAN and WAN environments, working across switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless solutions, while also helping clients transition to modern cloud networking technologies. Expect a mix of remote diagnostics and on-site implementations, with the opportunity to get hands-on with enterprise-grade solutions in a variety of industries. What You Bring * Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs * Experience with enterprise-grade switches, routers, and firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco or similar) * Hands-on knowledge of firewall management and network security best practices * Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS networking services * Ability to monitor, diagnose, and resolve network performance issues (Forti-Analyser, PRTG etc) * Experience with wireless networks (Wi-Fi design, deployment, troubleshooting) * Desirable: Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent Your Experience You’re an IT professional with proven networking support experience. You enjoy problem-solving, thrive in dynamic environments, and can explain complex technical issues clearly to non-technical users. * Network support & fault resolution in live environments * Configuring and maintaining firewalls, switches, and routers * Supporting Office 365 / Microsoft 365 connectivity and cloud integration * Implementing and supporting VPNs for remote users * Monitoring and managing performance through common network tools The Package Hours: Mon–Fri 08:30–17:00 + Sat AM rota (after 6 months) Holiday: 22 days + bank holidays Bonus: Monthly performance & training-based reward scheme Perks: Team socials & events.
