Family run, established business who specialise in bespoke fashion accessories are seeking an experienced warehouse operative to join their small, friendly team. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn a traditional trade in a modern environment as part of a busy team. Due to the nature of this sector, we are looking for a candidate who is used to a smaller warehouse environment and not from a large distribution/warehouse centre, this is mainly due to the nature of the products that will be handled.
Responsibilities:
- Picking stock for orders
- Packing orders
- Keeping warehouse tidy
- Stock checks
- Use of in-house IT system (training will be provided)
- Previous warehouse experience preferred (at least two years)
- Ability to work on their own and as part of a team
- The role will include heavy lifting and the majority of the day they will be on their feet
- Computer literacy essential
Hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm with a 45 minute lunch break. 20 days holiday a year (plus bank holidays) with a maximum of 5 days used for our Christmas closure. Workplace pension offered after probation completed. Discretionary annual bonus. Car parking available on site. Salary from Β£25,000 depending on experience.
