For an international organization in Geneva, Switzerland, we are urgently looking for a Full REMOTE Java Developer with +5 years of experience. As a Java XML Developer, you will develop new and expand existing web-based functionalities, in a manner that is compatible with the existing IT Platform and ensures Portal compliance.

During the corona crisis, interviews will be done through WEBEX, and travel is not required for the interviews. All positions are long-term.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Perform software quality assurance related activities as part of agile project teams;
  • Perform software development related tasks, as required;
  • Perform software acceptance testing to ensure that software developed corresponds to functional and non-functional requirements, such as quality-related acceptance criteria and coding standards;
  • Perform code reviews and code related testing activities as per confirmed quality assurance requirements;
Profile:
  • Bachelor or Master degree;
  • +5 years working experience in Java and Spring framework;
  • Experience in programming using Javascript, HTML, CSS and other platforms;
  • Knowledge of Amazon AWS development environments is an advantage;
  • Experience in performing software quality assurance activities (i.e. unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, peer reviews, etc.);
  • Knowledge and experience of iterative/agile project delivery methods;
