Java Technical Consultant – Derivatives Products Working as part of the Technology Solutions team you will be responsible for code development projects to map / analyse proprietary data models and manage technical queries related to the regulatory technology models and codebase.Responsibilities:Hands‐on coding in Java with Python, exposure to domain‐specific or functional languages, code generators, build & release best practices, testing frameworks.Using the GitHub repository and issue management environment.Assist with business analysis, mapping proprietary data models and other technical queries relating to trading technology and regulatory reporting use cases.Experience & Skills required:High proficiency in Java/Python; experience with JSON, DSL, FpML data formats.Experience with code editors such as IntelliJ, PyCharm, VSCode, Eclipse.Preferably data modelling of financial products, transactions and lifecycle events.Proactive worker on technical projects; engaging stakeholders and driving work to completion meeting deadlines.Working knowledge of financial markets: trade processing, settlements, derivatives, commodities, collateral management markets.Adaptable, quick learner and team player.Qualifications:Bachelor\’s degree in any speciality (preferably computer science, engineering or technology related).Further business analysis, engineering or technology qualifications an advantage.Seniority level: Mid‐Senior levelEmployment type: Full‐timeJob function: Information TechnologyIndustries: Financial Services, Investment Banking, BankingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Talensa Partners by 2x.
