Digital Assets Solutions SME / Project Lead - Director level Digital Assets, Tokenisation and Smart Contract Initiatives - Capital Markets

My client is a leading Financial Services and Markets Infrastructure firm providing a suite of services and digital solutions across numerous international clients.

Role Purpose:

They are looking for someone to play a central company wide and client focussed professional services role to support the client journey and adoption of DLT, Tokenisation and Smart contract initiatives as part of their wider Digital assets strategy. This individual will bring holistic digital assets and technology experience, working with clients to explore, coordinate and execute solutions that address impediments to the use of digital and tokenized assets. The candidate will own the digital and professional services offering and align closely with key internal stakeholders to ensure that DLT, smart contract and tokenization initiatives are integrated with, and reinforce, wider collateral and derivatives product strategy. This is a high-profile, front-of-house position with the opportunity to represent as a thought leader across industry working groups, regulatory forums, events and sandbox initiatives advancing the practical use of tokenized assets, DLT and Smart Contracts.

Skills and Experience

  • Digital solutions: Strong expertise in DLT, tokenization and smart contract design, translating complex collateral and other relevant derivatives transaction-related workflows into smart contract process steps
  • Tokenized asset fundamentals: Understanding of how digital assets and tokenized financial assets are represented, issued and transferred
  • Financial product management: Practical experience of managing wholesale financial operations (collateral management experience preferred), sufficient to translate operational requirements into digital and tokenized solutions.
  • Cross-team collaboration: Ability to work across legal, policy, technology and business teams, aligning diverse stakeholders to deliver integrated tokenized solutions.
  • Market & regulatory education: Strong communication skills to articulate value, risks and implications of tokenization and the use of tokenized assets in derivatives to senior industry participants, working groups and regulators
  • Working group leadership: Proven stakeholder management, prioritization and coordination skills to support and advise clients, drive agendas and deliver key initiatives.
  • Public policy contribution: Experience in regulatory engagement and contributing to consultation responses, linking technical innovation with policy outcomes, would be beneficial.
