The Senior Treasury Analyst will report to Talcott’s Treasury Director and play a key role in supporting reinsurance transaction onboarding, cash and liquidity management, and broader treasury initiatives for a growing Bermuda reinsurance platform. This role offers hands‑on exposure to deal execution, including funding and operational setup. It also provides the opportunity to support and enhance core treasury activities while driving process improvements, automation, and the development of a robust controls environment as the business continues to scale. This is a dynamic, project‑driven role suited to someone who is eager to learn, take ownership, and thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment. Key Responsibilities
- Support onboarding and execution of reinsurance and structured transactions from a treasury perspective
- Coordinate funding, collateral management, and operational readiness for new deals
- Partner closely with Legal, Finance, Reinsurance Operations, and Investments teams on a range of projects
- Support cash management activities, including liquidity monitoring, forecasting, and funding coordination
- Execute cash movements across global bank accounts
- Support bank account management and administration and liaise with external stakeholders including banks, custodians, and trustees
- Support the design and ongoing enhancement of treasury processes and controls
- Ensure appropriate controls are implemented and maintained, and maintain robust process documentation
- Support month‑end treasury close activities
- Lead automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Contribute to a broad range of treasury and cross‑functional projects as the business evolves, while supporting core day‑to‑day treasury activities
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Professional qualification such as CTP, CPA, or equivalent is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in treasury, finance, insurance, banking, or audit
- Insurance or reinsurance experience is highly desirable
- We welcome candidates from:
- Treasury backgrounds (e.g., liquidity and cash management)
- Audit professionals (e.g., Big 4) with insurance/reinsurance experience looking to transition into a treasury‑focused role
- Exposure to onboarding reinsurance transactions, structured finance, or capital markets is a plus
Compensation
This range represents the minimum and maximum annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. The actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range. The base pay is based on factors including but not limited to experience, competence, and demonstration of proficiencies essential for the role. The base pay is just one component of Talcott’s total annual compensation for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, long‑term incentives and recognition.
