We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to oversee a housing and apartments project in Gosport. Experience with Heritage Works is essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of site operations. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Duties
- Manage daily site operations, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress and report on key performance indicators to senior management.
- Implement effective time management strategies to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, incident reports, and progress updates.
Qualifications
- Proven 5 years experience in site management or a similar role within the construction industry.
- SMSTS/Black CSCS.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
- Proficiency in time management with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
