Job Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and staff on all HR matters, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practice.
- Lead on performance management, disciplinary, capability, and grievance issues with professionalism and tact.
- Monitor absence and wellbeing across the Company, including Bradford Factor reporting and meetings.
- Supervise, coach, and develop HR Assistants and Administrators, helping them grow in their careers.
- Partner with senior leaders to identify recruitment needs and priorities, ensuring our talent pipeline supports business strategy.
- Contribute to HR reporting, salary benchmarking, and retention strategies to keep Talbots competitive and people‑focused.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience as an HR Executive, qualified to CIPD Level 5 or working towards this qualification.
- Strong working knowledge of employment law issues with the ability to research, investigate and apply these to a variety of situations using a pragmatic business approach.
- Competent in establishing credibility, gaining respect, and building strong working relationships with key people.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, sensitivity, professionalism, tact and diplomacy along with strong organisational skills.
